Some thoughts on Little Things:

In retrospect being 21 was magic. A long ol' period of reckless irresponsibility where only the most severe mentalists were limited by grim debt and worldly concerns.
Anyone who argues otherwise about their early 20s must be crazed.
Sure we had our hearts broken, never fit in with the tough kids, and generally screwed up. But that still happens now. And we have to go to goddam work on top of it.

These are records about being young and finding people. At times they're hopelessly rosy. And that’s allllright.
These are records that could have only have been written then.

Little Things were many things, but organized we were not. Only 6 of the 26 tracks on the record were ever released. That's a hard statistic to get my head around. And probably was a significant factor in limiting our success.
So, here we are a decade later packing it all together. Most of this is good stuff; some of it will only be of interest to completists and our parents. I’ll let you work out what is what.

This compilation is for Luciana Camargos who has been asking for it for four years now.

Note: These recordings were variously recorded in me and Ed’s basement at Haydon Place, in a shed behind Clive Cherry’s chicken coop, a mock Tudor cottage in the Surrey hills, above a mosque in East London, and in an industrial complex in Brixton. They sound as coherent as you might expect.
